I might be new to blogging but not writing, sometimes I do poetry or short stories. My intention here is too create an HONEST forum that allows stepmoms/parents a place to safely vent or share hardships. However, I'm not a fan of extremism or judgment....my goal is for this to become a support group if you will. We all have different back stories and/or circumstances, so let's just keep open minds & hearts. As for me, after experiencing fertility issues during my first marriage, I thought my dream of becoming a mom had expired. Then one day I met a sweet-natured man with a heart of gold, falling not just for him but his beautiful kids as well. That was over a decade ago & now those adorable children are teens, who are starting to become fine young people with unique obstacles. If being a blended family with teens doesn't have enough challenges, we also lack any semblance of true co-parenting which creates struggles within the marriage. So if any of this rings tr
